Monday Update April 22, 2024

Our DUO (Do Unto Others) for April is Pace Center for Girls.  Pace Center for Girls has served over 2,000 girls throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties through our three distinct components: Academic, Social Services and Transition Services. You can go to their website, https://www.pacecenter.org, where you can volunteer or donate online.

Friends and Family Sunday was a huge success again.  We served 67 meals and had several visitors. Special thanks to Anne Sessions and our Hospitality Hosts, as well as all who brought a dish to share.

The Mission will be hosting a Military Officers' Commissioning Service for the UWF ROTC seniors on May 3rd at 10:00 AM. One of those being commissioned is our own Anthony Rodas! Congratulations! About 120 people are expected to attend. We will host a reception following the Commissioning Service in our Parish Fellowship Hall. Kay Libert will be taking the lead on the reception where we will be serving hors D'oeuvres and punch. If you can help with this event and/or provide an appetizer give Kay a call at (850)428-5065. This is a great opportunity to get new people in our building and honor the men and women who will be serving our nation as officers in the military.

Join Rick and Steve+ for Adult Sunday School at 9:30 AM in the Parish Hall. We are currently studying Judges.
